Stilettos
Shoes with Stiletto Heels
The term "stiletto" — an Italian word for a thin blade — originally referred only to the slender heel itself. Today, it typically describes the entire high-heeled shoe. Stilettos are often referred to as high heels with needle-thin heels. In general, stilettos are known for their very thin heels.
Wearing stilettos requires some practice to maintain balance. As a result, women tend to move more slowly in them, which in turn gives their walk a more elegant and graceful appearance.
